Review all exhibition entry requirements
Submit application materials, fee, and artwork by deadline. 

1. up to two art works may be entered

(must meet the following requirements)

  • Created in the past 3 years
  • Never shown before at a previous LAC exhibition
  • Meet the Wyoming native or migratory subject matter and media criteria (no works of domestic horses, cows, dogs etc are accepted.)
  •  Have proper hanging device - picture frames will NOT be accepted. Wire and hook across back required.

2016 Judges


  • Adult Professional An artist who consistently shows as a professional in art exhibitions and/or who sells roughly $1000 worth of art each year.
  • Adult Aspiring
  • Teen Aspiring 9-12 years old
  • Youth 12 and under 

  • oil and acrylic
  • watercolor 
  • graphics and drawings (includes woodcuts, lithographs, aquatints, etchings, serigraphs, silkscreens, pencil drawings, charcoal drawings, pen and ink, scratch board, etc.)
  • sculpture (no waxes)
  • other media: fiber, batik, leatherwork, wall hangings, stained glass, collage, sculpture, bronze etc.)
  • No photography accepted.


The commission on sold artwork is 30%. Selling art is a priority for the LAC. We prefer art that is for sale, but it is not a requirement for show entry. Checks will be written at the close of the exhibition. Purchased artwork must remain in the exhibition until its close.

Deadline for completed entries and artwork:
July 15, 2016 

Artwork will be on exhibit:
July 22 - September 3, 2016
Artwork will not be allowed to be removed from the exhibition until after September 3rd. No exceptions.

Opening reception:
July 22, 2016,  6 - 8pm
The opening is free and open to the public. All artists are encouraged  to attend. 

Exhibition ends: September 3, 2016

Artwork must be picked up at the Lander Art Center by September 9, 2016. Please let staff know if you require special arrangements.
