Tuesday, September 15
Time: 6 - 8 pm

Location: Lander Art Center, 224 Main Street
Oh Horsefeathers! The origin for the word horsefeathers. "nonsense",
1928, is said to have been coined by U.S. cartoonist Billy De Beck;
perhaps a variant of "nonsense" though the latter is attested only from
1940s. Snuffy Smith and Barney Google was the name of the cartoon,
Snuffy's had a racehorse called "Spark Plug".
Join local printmaking artist, Susan Grinels for a fun night of expressive
printmaking
on a different type of media. Susan will teach students her unique style
of printmaking
on feathers. Have a date night, a girls night, or some "me" time and
create a beautiful
piece you can hang in your home or give as a gift.
